It looks a lot like Christmas

Wow, amazing storm we folks near the lakes and north east had yesterday. Hope everyone is okay and kept warm. No school today for the first time this year. The kids are going to love it.

WOOT~ STEALING CARMEN NEXT WEEK! I can hardly wait to hear what people think. Not being shy about it this time. I wanna know if they noticed the difference.

Since I'm done with my Christmas shopping, guess what? OTHER PEOPLE ARE getting me to do theirs! Okay, most people could not induce me to share their pain like that, but it's my mother. She has a bad back and...you get the idea...le sigh.... I have to go to the evil mall again. I don't do well with crowds. That is code for I hate them and react by becoming angry. Took me a long time to realise what the extreme trigger is. Now that I know, you'd think it'd help. Sorta doesn't.

So much fun. What you doing the week before Christmas?

I feel the same way about malls and finished my shopping a couple weeks ago. Buut, my sis is coming on saturday, and she hasn't even started! Which means I too will have to suffer the dreaded malls again, only 3 days before Christmas

Finished shopping?! I haven't really even started yet. Too busy. Did get all the gals done on line. Check out Philosophy. Best stuff in the world. Coffee, pepermint and chocolate body washes. What a way to wake up every morning!

I am taking the 26th off just to read Stealing Carmen and recover from the family. Can't wait!

Merry Christmas!

Aww, poor Kelly. I feel for you! I have to go to the mall with my mom today. Also, the pixie's school is closed for the second day in a row. Today it's because of an accident, not the weather, so can't stay home. LOL

OMG...Anon, Philosophy sounds amazing! Taking the day off??? LOL I love you.

How great is it to not be alone in taking a day off of work to read a long awaited book!? Seems like forever since the last Gail Faulkner book was published...so, gotta finish Christmas shopping (expletive!), enjoy Christmas, send my parents home, then finally (woo hoo), it's me and the new Gail Faulkner book.
:-)

p.s.
Greetings to my fellow Philosophy Girls!
