Thank you for your Concern!!

I am happy to say all is as well as it can be. This has been a difficult winter for so many in the U.S., my family included.

I know everyone wants to hear I have a busy release schedule this year but I can't give you that news. My style of writing has changed and I'm a bit unsure how it will be received. I know, you can't tell me until you read it and well, that means I have to get it out there. LOL. I hear you.

I have a contract with EC on Wicked Beast, but no release date, beyond that I'll have to let you know.

Thank you again.
Gail

Hey Gail,
I must say I am glad you are back. Also so what if your style has changed a bit...as people we should always grow and change to help us get where we want to be. I think that you will still have the great ability to tell a story and I look forward to it. Though I do understand authors have their own time to do things:)

Oh no! No need to get shy about your writing now. Whatever you dream up for your readers is sure to be as awesome as your other work! Just let your inhibitions go regarding the style; most people are drawn to characters and plots more than writing style. Books that are close to my heart are the ones with great characters. Those characters are the reason I keep reading the same book over and over again.

And as an artist, it's natural that you evolve. So write whatever is in your heart right now and don't force yourself into a direction contrary to your current instincts.

I'm relieved to hear you're okay. I was worried for a couple months about your absence! I am just going to assume you were self-secluded, entertaining a hunk, and painting breathtaking scenes in your free time.

Thanks for checking in and reassuring your fans that we will be gifted with more of your writing in the future.

Anyways, I wish you support and sisterly love. *hugs* Please take care... and welcome back!

Gail, glad to hear you are doing well and still kicking. And from one huge fan, I'm more interested in hearing that the writing fills your heart with joy and gives your soul wings. No matter the genre or the heat level, the style or the story, I know in my heart you will shine.

Hugs!

Hi Gail,

Change reflects growth, and that's never a bad thing; you were good before, so I can only look forward to how much better the storytelling is going to get!
Your way with words is a reflection of your heart and mind, and since you've already captured ours, the journey together is going to be even more rewarding and fun. Don't worry, darlin'; just write, and we'll be here with bated breath!
hugs,

Hi Gail,

I am Rachel from Brazil and love ur books, I am very happy that you will be writting more soon and I am sure they will be great as always. As for change, we won´t know for sure till we read what you mean by that, but I am sure they will still be wonnderful. My favourite book from you is Into his keeping, I read it months ago and I still think about it all the time, I thought I could imagine how far love could go but that one sure went beyond my wildest imagination or anything else I read (and I read a lot, new, old, classic, non fiction, medicine u name it). Anyways, its nice to be able to tell you all that and keep up the good work and welcome back!!!

Is the site going to be up and running again soon? (And sorry for any typos)

I love your books. Any chance Miguel and Tammy from the Ghost Unit series will get their story?

Gail, the first story of yours I read was Into His Keeping - and boy did I fall in love - with Holden & Jill, with their story, and with your storytelling and drawing of characters. I swear I thought they were real! After that I couldn't get enough and read everything I could find on EC. Whatever the next chapter in your story Gail, we fans are ready & waiting. Hi. Love your books and the curse of a good author is I now want you in front of your computer just cranking out book after book for me to enjoy...no life for you :) I do hope that you finish the ghost unit books and I am really looking forward to more myst lion books so I do hope I get to read them some day. I am interested to give your new writing style a try. While I love your plots and stories my favorite authors are the ones that have great back and forth between the main charaters and you write great dialog and have such well written and engaging male characters. You are a joy to read.

P.s. I do hope your website being for sale doesn't mean you are done writting.
