Disgusted with the press...again

The greedy, vicious, soulless beast that is the press during an election year has focused itself on a child. I don’t care what the politics are, my stomach turns as they relentlessly try to publicly strip the very young woman, Miss Palin, as opposed to talking about issues the election should be about.

I thought about writing a letter but since I’d have to do it to every news organization, I became discouraged with that. Showing my displeasure by clicking off the news seems a passive response to actions the truly make me sick. Blogging it felt right.

Her actions, right or wrong, are not a mater for lewd, national entertainment.

One of those weeks

This week I’ve been to the DMV, the emergency room and had a deer commit suicide by car.

Was at DMV to renew license. That night my eye tissue swells up so I can’t close the eye. I think I have pink eye from touching stuff at the DMV and go to the emergency room. I don’t have the contagious pink eye so I just wasted my time and money. Top that off with the emergency room rent-a-cop being rude because I couldn’t find the button to push to open the door that lets me out of emergency room. Eye swollen = hard time seeing buttons! What a jerk.

Today the deer thought it was a good day to die and wrecked my car in the process. That’s very traumatic for the humans involved.

Thank you for the kind comments on my quick sketch of a Leonor male. I’d scan in my good art but most of the pieces are too large to fit the scanner. I’ll have a look at the portfolio and see if there is anything else.

Words of Wisdom

Do not put the EMPTY ice tray back in the freezer. Resist the urge to forward that mass email. It's impossible to enjoy my own lunch while the person across from me is eating with their mouth open.
