Update

Yayyyyy, received the final copy of ASK FOR IT! I should know the publish date next week.

Slaving away at the other two manuscripts with contract offers.

I recently met an author who published lovely romances in the eighties. I’m working on getting her back into sharing her talent with the rest of us. Ebooks are such a different world from what publishing used to be. I realize the ebook market has always been on the cutting edge of erotic romance but I believe there is a lot of room for deep, heartfelt romance. The electronic market is expanding as such a shocking rate with the availability of computers and hand-held readers that it’s almost impossible for there not to be readers hungry for every facet of the romance world. Well, I have my fingers crossed.

That’s it for the updates today. Must write.

Can you tell us who the author is? The 70's was when I first started reading romance novels.

I agree - the ebook market is recognizing the need to accept more less-explicit books, that the market is there for a very wide range of romance stories, and the guidelines are slowly but surely changing to match the readers' needs. I'm so glad to see it!! I, for one, have been a romance junkie since about 1973 when I read Kathleen Woodiwiss' the Flame and the Flower and The Wolf and the Dove...

Hugs!!

Yay! Hope you get a date soon.

Ebook markets have opened doors for many writers--myself included. Whoever the author is, I hope she decides to keep writing and try the ebook market.
